I’m excited to reveal the cover of my upcoming book, Adjacent to the Lake.

This ring is important in Adjacent on the Lake. It’s a Claddagh ring. Its design dates back to the seventeenth century and is often worn by the Irish. All the parts of the ring are important. The crown represents loyalty. The heart represents love. The encircled hands symbolize friendship. When engaged, the ring goes on her left hand with the point of the heart directed at her fingertips. When married, the heart’s point faces her wrist.
